SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL SEMINAR: "INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROVISION OF CREDIT OBLIGATIONS AND THEIR PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION FOR COLLATERAL VALUATION AND MONITORING"

SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL SEMINAR: "INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROVISION OF CREDIT OBLIGATIONS AND THEIR PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION FOR COLLATERAL VALUATION AND MONITORING"

In accordance with the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine dated June 30, 2016, No. 351 "On Approval of the Regulation on Determining the Size of Credit Risk by Active Banking Operations" (as amended)  and with the purpose of providing the necessary advisory and methodical assistance to the banks of Ukraine in terms of ensuring quality fulfillment of the requirements of this Regulation, University of Banking Affairs in cooperation with the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, The Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Individual Deposit Guarantee Fund and the Pan-Ukrainian Association of Valuation Specialists supported by the National Bank of Ukraine, held on July 11, 2019, a scientific and practical seminar on "International and domestic requirements for the provision of credit obligations and their practical implementation for the collateral valuation and monitoring". The organizing committee of the seminar was concentrated on the basis of the VERITEX Group of Companies.

At the seminar, the issues of the purpose, content, procedure of work and reporting on the implementation by banks of modern requirements for the assessment and reduction of credit risks with a special emphasis on the provision of credit obligations, as well as the future prospects for the development of these works in the light of existing European practice, were considered. Considerable attention was paid to the practical aspects and experience of implementing these requirements in the system-making banks. In general, the participants were acquainted with modern international and national experience on the above-mentioned issues.
